I recently purchased my first KitchenAid stand mixer, and I love it!. It is a solidly built machine with a powerful motor and attachments that really do the job right. I have used other brands of hand held and stand mixers before, but the KitchenAid Artisan series 5-qt tilt-head stand mixer is by far the best one I have ever owned. It is a dream to use.

Don't ask me why I waited so long to purchase a stand mixer. I refer to it as a "big girl " mixer. It is incredibly easy and intuitive to operate. My only complaint is the chute is a little wonky. It is a very lose fit but so far it has not fallen in or off.
