I have waited sixty years for a Kitchen Aid mixer. I kept hinting to my husband to give me one for those sixty years. Finally I took matters into my own hands and bought one for myself. I love it. It is so much fun to mix up cakes, cookies, and I am going to try pie crusts for the holiday. I just wish I would have had the money many years before but didn't. It is so easy to use and clean. Now I must get busy and put it into more use.
Pros: Convenient Features, just what i always dreamed it would be, Design, Performance, easy to use

I bought this mixer a month ago, to make chessecake's, should of bought it years ago it does everything I will ever need. I plan on buying the attachments.This mixer is so well made I expect it to out last me and will be passed down to my daughter.

Using my Artisan with meat grinder broke the mixer

I loved my Artisan. For Christmas I got the Kitchenaid meat grinder kit I used it according to directions but after a few minutes my mixer motor whined. I shut the mixer off and now it makes a grating sound. I called customer service and they said basically tough luck - I should be able to use a KA kit with a KA mixer. Not a happy customer. Also, it got the Clementine color and it's not made any more.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
