I had an Oster double beater I have used for many years and wanted to get a KitchenAid for a long time. I have been baking more lately and decided to take the plunge. Best thing I ever did. I have been turning out rolls, breads, pastries, etc. and love the KitchenAid.

Only a couple suggestions:
Sometimes it’s hard to get the bowl off of the stand. Perhaps a redesign?
I wish there were a couple of speeds for stir as sometimes it’s too fast.

Finally a powerful mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband gave me this for Christmas after he saw me with my old mixer jumping across the counter while making cookie dough. I am happy to say this mixer stays put no matter what you mix. I have used it with bread dough and it works great. I think the splatter cover could have been designed a littler better. I am also concerned with the beater coating as I have read many reviews of it flaking off. I have not had this problem, but I wish they offered a stainless steel option.
