I bought this mixer for my granddaughter. It's my 3rd mixer. Gave my daughter an Artisan mixer and kept the lift for myself. It's a great product and when there is a problem the folks at KitchenAid are wonderful to work with. Buy from these folks; you'll be happy.

I had been wanting to buy a Kitchen Aid Standing Mixer for years...finally bit the bullet. I have not been disappointed in the least -- really thrilled with my purchase. I have only been using the mixer for basic mixing/whipping thus far, but I'm looking forward to using the paddle and dough-mixing attachments to try more savory dishes. The product is very sturdy, and extremely aesthetically pleasing! :)

Waited 19yrs for one, and what a great surprise under the tree! Its quite a mighty machine, and weighs quite a bit. Easy cleaning, lots of power, and simple to use. Used for baked goodies and pasta dough so far, with ease.

So far, we love it. My 11 yr old daughter actually gets mad if I use it without her. I try to explain that sometimes I can't wait until she gets home from school, so she's trying to adjust cooking times so that I can wait until 4 pm so that she can "help" me. Really, she wants to do it all. She LOVES our new Kitchenaid. Had an issue with the metal bowl leaving black streaks in the food. But I bought the glass bowl. Problem solved. We use a lot of citrus. I was afraid the acid would react with the metal. So, like I said, bought the glass mixing bowl. We are really enjoying our new mixer. It makes cooking/baking fun. Also takes a lot of the mixing load off me. Haven't used the dough hook yet. But that's on the agenda for next weekend. Gonna try haiwiian sweet bread. I can't believe I finally have a kithenaid stand mixer. Was a surprise from my hubby. Of course, he's gonna benefit from this purchase. See if we can fatten him up a bit. My dughter & I have been plotting on how to get this mixer for at least a year. They are a bit pricey. But my hubby has been shaving off the bank account bit by bit. And he surprised us about a month ago with our new toy! We've used it a lot, with great results, so far. Tonight, gnocchi is on the menu. Last time we made gnocchi, it was very labor intensive. This should make the mixing much easier. If it works out like I hope, we may be having gnocchi more often.
