I received an Kitchen Aid Ultra as a wedding gift. I had been wanting a bigger bowl and more power. Unfortunately I like the tilt head so a KA professional wasn't for me. The artisan provides an additional kick. I love it with the scraper beater. Works great.

Takes all of the work out of kneading dough or mixing. I use this for a lot of things I make. The benefits far outweigh any negatives. As for cons, the only things I'll say is:
- Pouring ingredients in while it's mixing can be a little difficult. There's an attachment they sell that makes this a non-issue but I don't own it yet.
- Depending on what you're making, if it's not wet enough or sticky enough - not all of the dry ingredients at the bottom will be mixed in so you just need to help it a little and then it mixes well for the duration.
