[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've waited years to finally get one of these. I had a cheap B&D one that broke, but this thing is a tank! Solid, heavy so it doesn't move on the counter, and just feels like it's well built. Very happy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this as a replacement for a unit that was defective -- KitchenAid was incredibly easy to deal with when it came to replacing the unit, and that superior customer service alone earned them a lifelong customer. BUT my new mixer (which works like it's supposed to) is amazing. I've wanted a stand mixer for decades, and now wonder why I waited so long. I make bread dough at least once a week, and use the meat grinder to make homemade sausage. This is a machine that gets heavy use, with tough ingredients, and performs flawlessly. Thank you, KitchenAid!
