I got this as a gift for out wedding and finally started using it after I had my son. I wanted to make some lactation cookies and the first time, it took hours to mix the thick dough. The next time, I decided to finally christen my KitchenAid mixer. My husband commented on the beautiful blue color and we were both impressed with how much time it saved in mixing the dough, and in clean up! My old mixer made such a mess, but the splash shield on the KitchenAid prevents flour from getting all over the kitchen :)

Great mixer, broken dough hook

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this mixer for christmas from my mom, it came with 3 attachments. The paddle and whisk work fantastically; I've made cookies, brownies, butter, etc. But unfortunately the dough hook will not go onto my mixer. I have emailed about twice it but have not gotten a response. Other than not being able to use 1/3 attachments, the mixer works great.

My wife bought this wonderful mixer for me for our wedding anniversary since I am always cooking and baking. The mixer makes everything so much easier and she got it in my favorite color. So far I have made pizza dough, pasta dough, tortoni which is a delicious Italian ice cream and Zeppole. This mixer does it all and will make my Christmas baking so much easier this year going forward. :D
