Bought the artisan about a month ago and went to use it last night and it did not work. The motor turned on and there was no action. Took it back to the store and exchanged it. The store only had one in stock. Not sure that I like the color and I am wondering if it was the display model. The feet are very dirty. I turned it on and it works but I have not used it yet. On the positive side my first kitchen aid mixer lasted twenty years!

My husband bought my kitchen aid for Christmas and I absolutely love it!!! It got lots of use at Christmas time. I probably use my Kitchen Aid at least once a week sometimes more. I love the fact that I can just put in my ingredients and let it mix while i'm cooking other things. My next plan is to start getting some of the attachments that go with it. I haven't had any problems with it what so ever.
