I love my KitchenAid stand mixer. There are so many different attachments (I especially love the juicer attachment. It gets every last drop of juice out.) . It's also very solid. I really feel like food is no match for the strength this thing has. It also looks good on my counter, except my cat keeps trying to rub his face on it. He likes it too!

I bought this in December because I have always wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer and I was thrilled! I love this product. In fact, I also purchased the food processor attachment, food grinder attachment as well as various blades to go with the mixer. If you love to cook and want to do one nice thing for yourself it would be to BUY THIS MIXER!!!

Artisan has Larger bowl than Classic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago. I have made a double batch of cookies & dinner rolls. The larger bowl is problematic in that the beater does not get close enough to the sides making me take time to scrape them down frequently. The dough hook doesn't go deep enough to mix small amounts of water and yeast; must be done by hand. The Flex Edge beater should be included with this model. My previous Kitchen Aid mixer was the Classic model made 70 years ago. I had to stop using it because the speed control went bad (not bad for 70 years old). I would still be using it if the part needed was available. I hope my new mixer will last at least 35 years. Also, I miss the handle on the head.
