I love all the funky colors, but I ended up with classic black to match rest of kitchen appliances. I bought one for my daughter for wedding gift and thought "I need one to". I wished I would have bought one years ago, when kids were home and made more cakes and cookies. I'm anxious to try a cheese cake!!

Besides the color (I know, this has nothing to do with the functionality, but c'mon people, we all know that's part of the charm) the multiple speeds, the ease of use, the accessories available and the heavy duty construction just make this so much fun to use.

I just recently bought the Artisan 5-Quart tilt-head stand mixer, so I've only used it twice, but I can say this --- the cookie batter I made was absolutely the CREAMIEST cookie batter I've ever seen and it was a snap making mashed potatoes! This machine is relatively quiet, but so powerful! I love it!
