I finally went out to buy myself the kitchenAid mixer, my husband asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I gave him a picture of a kitchenAid mixer told him everything about it a couple years ago.He bought me a mixer that wasn't a kitchenAid, I thanked him and used it. I was very disappointed. I was making cookies with this mixer he bought me and the whisk thing broke so I went to the store and bought my kitchenAid. My husband then said to me "can't you buy a new whisk for your mixer" and I told him "NO" this is what I want.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my kitchenaid mixer after Christmas as a gift to myself! I could not WAIT to use it!!! My first use was making homemade chocolate chip cookies! I made them with such ease! I ordered the cranberry color which is hot pink because this chic loves all things pink! Pearl (the name I gave her) has a permanent spot on my counter top! She’s too heavy to keep moving around and too pretty to be tucked away under a cabinet!

When i use the kitchenaid mixer for various mixing, i just add the ingredients, then stand back and watch the mixer do all the magic! :) The mixing and scraping from the bowl is just perfect. I have various times mixed the batter for oatmeal cookies (which tends to get very hard when oats are added) but the mixer does a great job. Same is when i make a pizza dough. Its great every-time. The spout makes adding easy and the overall clean is very easy.
MUST BUY. Its a great investment if you like baking.
