I got this as a wedding present, and made my first batch of cookies with it last month. I love it. The cookie dough is very thick and sticky, and I have burned out mixers while making it. This one lived to survive the challenge. The only issue is that you have to scrape the outside of the bowl with some frequency.

I am so happy with this purchase. I have always dreamed about having a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. The blue was chosen because of my kitchen design. I knew all about the functionalities so I was 100% that this was the Stand Mixer I wanted. I usually make bread so it has a good performance as well.

I picked this out after debating on models/colors for a long time. I am so happy with my choice! The color is gorgeous. It goes perfectly with everything in my kitchen and I'm sure will go well with everything even as my kitchen evolves/as I move homes. The size is ideal, as it is big enough to handle large batches of cookies around the holidays, but not so big that I feel silly pulling it out for things I make just for myself. It also doesn't take up an unreasonable amount of space on my counter top (I've been leaving it out since it looks so nice with everything).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement for my 25 year old mixer that was running a little slow. I went from 4-.5 Qt. to this 5 Qt. and it's a workhorse. I love it, and love the red color.
