I've waited many years to purchase this mixer. My wait was not in vain. It is very easy to make anything that needs mixed, stirred or whipped together with this mixer. In the first week I made homemade bread, brownies, beat whipped cream into stiff peaks and made a lemon pie. The cleanup is simple and it always looks so nice on my kitchen counter.
This mixer can't be beat!! (to use a bad pun!)

I love to bake and I have been using a cheap hand mixer the last few years of my life in college. I have dreamed about owning my own mixer someday. I decided to put my graduation money towards one. I got the orange one, which I drooled over everytime I entered the store. I have been so pleased with my mixer and am happy that I dont have to go and redeem my warranty on my handmixer anymore (I had gone through three). KitchenAid is a quality product and if I had more money I would buy their brand in all my appliances.

I received this for Christmas. I have enjoyed making ice cream with the granddaughters, it is so easy and fun! The food processor is so easy. I have wanted one of these for a long time, I have not been disappointed at all. It is everything it is said to be.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Artisan mixer as a gift from a friend. As I was using it I noticed it didn't sound right. I called customer service right away and told them the issue. They were so nice and helpful and will be exchanging it for another! That's the type of company I will support. I have an older Professional 6qt mixer and it's still going strong! Looking forward to using the Artisan for smaller recipes!
