[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Asked for this as my Christmas gift from Santa. Received it early to make my cookies. So powerful compared to my retired Oster mixer. Now I want to keep making cookies, only problem is I eat them too!

Wonderful, durable, versatile mixer

My previous KitchenAid had given me many years of preparing meals for my 8 children, 19 grandchildren, and one great grandson but was "leaking" grease. We actually replaced the grease in my old KitchenAid mixer and kept it in the family by giving it to one of our daughters. Six of our seven daughters are owners of some type of KitchenAid mixer. I love to cook for my family and this appliance and the attachments has been one of best additions to my kitchen.

It is very heavy, even with the shield dry ingredients blow everywhere, can't scrape the bowl without turning off the mixer and raising the beater. Bowl doesn't move
