[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We made oatmeal raisin walnut cookies with a had mixer almost burnt it up ! Then got our artisan mixer making cookies became fun no effort at all blended so Thoroughly so easy to use

I purchased this mixer because I have been using my mother's 40 year old Oster stand mixer which still works beautifully. But the grass is always greener so I purchased this new mixer when I agreed to make a friend's wedding cake. My Kitchenaid mixer is a beautiful red color and looks nice sitting out on my counter. It mixes quickly and efficiently, but I find it annoying to add ingrdients to the mix because the bowls are tall and narrow. I have to stop the mixer and lift the beater out of the way. My old mixer is so much better in this respect. I haven't used the dough hook yet, but I think it will be more efficient. I am also looking forward to purchasing some of the grating attachments. I will continue to use it and hopefully will become more at home with it. I have only had it since September 2014.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my RED kitchenaid stand up mixer for Christmas. It assisted me in making 12 pecan pies for the new year! It went do much faster than in previous years with hand mixing. I love it!!
