I love my Aritsan 5 Qt Stand Mixer

I waited for years to afford a Kitchenaid mixer and finally decided I had waited long enough! This mixer is so easy to use and whips up batters in seconds. All the included attachments are so helpful and so easy to install. This mixer has so many speeds and with the tilt head, operation is a breeze. I especially like the new guard that sits on the bowl to pour flour into the mixer with. No more mess all over the countertop or dumping it all over the top of the mixer. I guess my only complaint about this mixer is it's extremely heavy. So if you don't have much counter space and need to move it when you use it, it can be a hassle. The stainless steel mixing bowl is very large and light weight and it locks onto the mixer when being used. Easy dishwasher clean up. Everything is dishwasher safe except the whisk. I haven't bought any of the extra attachments yet, but certainly plan on it soon. All in all, I love my Red Kitchenaid-Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head Stand Mixer. Don't know how I got along without it.

Enjoying my new mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my mixer a couple of weeks ago and I'm looking for excuses to make something! I'm still learning, and one thing is to remember to scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl especially when using the whisk attachment to be sure everything is mixed together well. It has made things so easy. Wish I had bought one before but glad I have it now.
