This machine is great for a variety uses. Its so nice to have a machine that is designed to do so many things. It is so easy to change the tools. Also to do that, just tip the machine up from the base. I like the weight of the base because it doesn't move while in use.
I have one complaint and that is, it doesn't spin as fast or whip as fast as I would like it to.
My Mom had one when I was a kid and it went like a strong wind. I have always wanted one and finally broke down and bought one. I do enjoy it.

I received my lovely mixer for Christmas this year and I am thrilled to own it. I have already tried to make 2 recipes; however, I ran into a problem. I made mashed potatoes and a batch of cookie dough and they both had grey/black streaks throughout. I had to throw the food away since I wasn't sure what has caused this. I washed the bowl and attachments in gentle dish soap prior to use (I did not use the dishwasher). I'm not sure if I received a faulty product or if I need to treat or wash it differently. I love my mixer and want to use it, but I don't want to continue to ruin food. Once I figure out how to fix this problem, I know I'll get great use out of this product.
