broke and will not work!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] used it for the 3rd time and will not work! I had my other kitchen aid for over 20+ years! this is horrible!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Tilt-Head!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this tilt-head mixer. I have been wanting one for a long time and now I finally own one. The Empire Red matches in my kitchen perfectly. I have used a Kitchen Aid Bowl Lift Mixer for several years. It works great but messy when adding ingredients, especially flour. The tilt -head is a little smaller in size than the bowl lift but allows for easy addition of extra ingredients. I love it for baking cakes and cookies with much easier clean up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The mixer itself works perfect but rather the badging that has poor workmanship. To be perscise it's where the holes were drilled for the Philip screws that were off. Basically there is slack behind the chrome badging and doesn't sit flush against the body of the mixer.

My mother-in-law gave me her old white stand mixer that she had forever when she moved into a retirement home. I loved that thing and used it all the time. I finally talked my husband into buying me a new one mainly for the color since I use it so much that it sits out on the counter. I love the color that I got but am disappointed with the way it works. The head bounces up & down every time I use it even in the locked position and doesn't mix the bottom of the bowl. It's so frustrating! My husband has adjusted it many times but still no luck! I guess they just aren't made like they use to be.
