Great new addition to the kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had wanted one of these for quite some time. This was a holiday gift to the house. Now, it is simple to make bread, whip cream and cookie dough is fast and easy. The dough hook gets the sides nicely and digs through dough without over mixing it. The dark red color is an extra delight. The only problem is that I am left handed and like many appliances, it’s oriented to right-handed folks. It is awkward to load ingredients, tilt the head and change the speed setting when using the plastic shield .

We bought the pro600 series for our daughter after she graduated from culinary school. She fell in love with her mixer and told me I MUST purchase one. After I used hers I had to buy my own.

I bought this before my sons birthday as he wanted me to make him a carrott cake and I knew I needed a heavy duty mixer to do the job and I'm glad I bought this! This mixer is worth every penny it mixes well and with the no splash guard over the bowl the flour and sugar didn't spray out all over the counters. I just lve my new mixer and I'm looking forward to getting more attachments to enjoy it even more!

I live in a very small condo, space is at a premium. I need double or even triple duty appliances in the kitchen, and this fits the bill. My mixer is used almost daily. The standard and benchmark for any stand mixer is the Kitchenaid!

Why did I wait so long?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What are you waiting for? I waited years before I purchased mine - I couldn't justify the cost. A friend of mine (A Julia Child in the making!) told me he wouldn't get rid of his if someone paid him. I'm no JC. However, I do LOVE to bake. And buying the mixer was the best decision. It allows you to do so many more things, be more creative and have fun again. SOOOOOO....GET THE MIXER. I promise it will make all your baking 100 times better AND your arms won't get so tired from all the mixing you used to do.
