[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned the Artisan stand mixer for a couple weeks and I am thoroughly enjoying the mixer. Excited to add accessories as I expand how I use the mixer. Coming from a Hamilton Beach, I like the KitchenAid’s mixing output way better. The KitchenAid mixer feels like a work horse with the metal housing and the metals switches. Glad I made the investment 10/10

I just received this to replace an older 4.5 qt classic Kitchenaid mixer. I have only used it twice but so far, it is great. I love the color (Blue Willow) as it complements my kitchen very nicely.
The first one I received had a significant flaw in the finish on the left front side of the mixer. I exchanged it and the new one has a very slight flaw in the same place but no so much that I wanted to try for a 3rd. However, I wonder why this flaw is there.
I have had my 4.5 qt one for 18 years and it is still working great. I knocked it over on the counter a few years ago which bent the locking arm. Had it fixed but it has never been the same. If not for that, I would still be using that one!

I have MS and often am frustrated doing what i love most, baking. Baking isn't as much fun when your hands go numb and have to stop often to collect your senses to hold a beater or continue kneading dough. Getting the kitchenaid for my birthday was my husbands way for all of us to come out with an all around win....i enjoy baking again and he gets his goodies every day.

Bought this one to replace the one that I had for over 42 years and finally wore it out. Would not own anything else but a Kitchenaid. I do a lot of baking for my grandson's school during the holidays and for special events and it always gets the job done. Best mixer you could ever own at a very affordable price!
