Love the mixer! Quiet, efficient, easy to use. Only one drawback, and that is that it is not easy to add ingredients to the mixing bowl without turning the mixer off and pulling the head up. The plastic "lid" does not fit well, slides off, and is more of a hassle than a help. Again, love the mixer but I must attend to turning it off to add ingredients.

This was one of those products I wanted for years and was so excited to unwrap. While there were some things to get used to going to a stand mixer from a hand mixer (A little awkward pouring ingredients) I definitely appreciate it's hard work that also saves my arms. Have yet to have a problem of it being overworked by thick doughs nor the nasty smell that accompanies overworked motors. The color is absolutely gorgeous and proudly sits on my counter rather than hiding in the cupboard.

I have always wanted a Kitchenaid mixer and I finally treated myself. I developed tendonitis in my left wrist so a conventional mixer is useless because of the pain. I have so much fun watching it mix everything completely and I my baked goods are coming out great - I would like to see the mixer be a bit taller so I can get into the bowl a bit easier - other than that, this is the bomb :)
