After owning the same Kitchenaid stand mixer for 43 years, it finally stopped working. It was a sad day! My husband bought me a new one, and I have to say that it works even better than my old one. Sure hope it will last for as long.

I got this mixer for Christmas this year and have used it so many times. I made an amazing loaf of bread the other day and it made the process almost completely mess-free, not to mention I could multitask making dinner while it was making the dough. I love this thing. I promise it would be worth every dime. Now I just can't wait to buy some attachments!

I'd been putting off getting a Kitchenaid stand mixer thinking that I wouldn't use it enough to justify it. Since getting one for Christmas I find that I actually use it a lot more. It's so convenient that throwing a batch of bread or cookies in and letting it go is so easy. The Artisan is also sturdy and can take a much heavier dough than anything I've used before. I'm looking forward to getting some of the accessories to go with it and finally trying things like making my own sausage and relishes.
