We bought this mixer after a failed dough making endeavor...fool me once, then get a KitchenAid! Could not be happier, dough making has become a success, and cake batters have never been smoother or better mixed. We are thoroughly happy with our purchase. Many times products fail to live up to the hype, but the KitchenAid 5qt Artisan meets and exceeds expectations. With the full line of attachments, we've just scratched the surface - many years of cooking enjoyment to come! The one must have before any other attachments is the splash guard cover, which works exceptionally well to limit unintentional spillage/projectiles when adding dry ingredients like flour to a mix. Get yours today - you will NOT be disappointed!

I really love the tilt head mixer. I do not make breads often enough to need the lift bowl with the higher wattage (and size). This mixer fits perfectly in my corner cabinet. I also like having the cover which helps when you add things while the mixer is going. This is a replacement for my old kitchenaid which lasted about 22 years! Hoping this one will do the same! Oh, I'm also glad the bowl is slightly larger and the handle is much more comfortable than my old one.
