This was a up grade from the 250 watts. I'm amazed at the quiteness and power. I can make a cake using the 5 quart steel mixing bowl and at the same time I can make a pie using the 5 quart glass mixing bowl. This is an idea set and I'm so happy for the purchase.

Ilove, love, love my Artisan mixer from Kitchen Aid. My friend bought a mixer about 25 years ago, and I bought her old one. While visiting her and watching her use her new Kitchenaid mixer, I knew I wanted one. It has been a dream of owning one for 25 years---back in the late 80's is when I started dreaming. Now, this year for my 40th wedding anniversary, my husband took me to buy my long-awaited mixer. I LOVE IT. I would love to have a few accessories, but, again, I must wait and form my next dream !!! Thank you !!
