This is my second tilt-head stand mixer from Kitchenaid. I had my first one for about 15 years before it finally stopped working. As a Christmas gift that same year my husband bought me a Kenmore stand mixer. I used it for several years, but never enjoyed it. It was loud, did not mix as well as my Kitchenaid had, and the attachments were often difficult to manipulate. The mixer was so loud that even my husband got fed up with it. We did not wait for the mixer to quit working, instead he bought me my new Kiitchenaid this past Mother's Day. It truly is a joy to use this mixer; quiet, smooth, and mixes everything quickly and thoroughly. I love baking again because my Kitchenaid is the right tool for the job.
