I received this great stand mixer as a gift from my children. For over 30 years I have used a hand held mixer until I received this Kitchen Aid mixer. I can't believe I waited so long to get one. It works great and tackles small and large jobs. I picked a great color that compliments my kitchen colors. I now look for recipes to make even though I'm an empty nester!

Bought a white stand mixer about 27 years ago and when we moved I gave it to my youngest daughter because she bakes a lot. Retired and moved out west and missed it so much that for Mothers Day my husband bought me a red one to match my kitchen. When a brand is so dependable that it can be passed down to the next generation that is a product everyone should be proud to own.

The kitchenaid mixer really does make a difference in the quality of whatever you are making. In this case, I was making a souffle to fold into a chiffon cake and this was the very very first time that I've managed to whip one up in this quality! I was so happy! I think I can use this and pass the souffle test that professionals do, that is, to turn over the bowl over my head. The souffle would not drop out from the bowl!
I've also used this to make bread and no way can it be compared to a normal mixer. My normal mixer wasn't even strong enough to mix the dough properly.
For whoever is thinking of getting this, consider no further, it's totally worth every cent!
