After using my mother's Kitchen Aid mixer growing up, I knew this was something I needed now that I have my own home. I registered for a mixer fir my wedding back in 2014 but just got it finally this past Christmas. It's everything I remembered and hoped it would be. It makes cooking and baking much quicker, and saves me from having to tap in my husband once my arm gets tired of stirring!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After months of agonizing over which mixer to get, my husband surprised me with the Artisan Series 5. The first time I used the mixer was to bake a cake for a colleague's birthday. The mixer performed flawlessly. After that, we were off and to the races. We ordered the pasta making kit and the pasta extruder, both of which have been so much fun to work with. I've also made flatbread using the mixer. I'm so thankful the DH went ahead and did what I couldn't bring myself to do - just go ahead and buy the mixer - because it's been a delight to work with!

I love my mixer! It's actually my second one, as my first was dropped and we were unable to fix it. I love how easy it is to set up and use. I have limited counter space, so I can't leave the mixer out all the time. I love that, although heavy, it's easy to move around when I need it. My cookies have come out perfectly so far. I can't wait to keep using it!
