Amazing mixer! I'm not sure I would go with the mixer that was a stop down from this only because I use mine so much for so many different things! I grew up with my mom having one and I have wanted one since I moved out on my own. I finally got one this Christmas from my husband. I've used it 2-3 times a week since Christmas and not one hiccup!
Pros: Performance, easy to use

I have wanted a Kitchenaid Mixer since being a teenager. For my 25th wedding anniversary my loving surprised me with one, Boysenberry, which is synonomous and coordinates with the color scheme of our anniversary celebration.
I have made fettuccine, wide noodles cakes, mashed potatoes, meatloaf, empanadas - you name it I've tried it.
It works well and with ease. Would recommend it to anyone in the market for such an item. Cuts down on the time spent on doing many tasks and the time spent in the kitchen.
I affectionately call it 'Baby Boy' short for Boysenberry.
Pros: Innovative, Design, Choice of colors, easy to use, Performance, Convenient Features
Cons: certain attachments should be included.

I received a beautiful Artisan Stand Mixer in the Pistachio color for Christmas. Not only is it extremely good looking, it works well too! I make pizza dough, cookies, cakes, meringues and muffins but haven't tried any attachments - the pasta maker is nice but fairly pricey, so we don't have that one yet.
I love that it cleans up easily too and you can save on washing up by mixing everything in the stainless bowl to start with. A friend recommended the mixer attachment with the scraper which means you don't have to stop the mixer and scrape the sides, it is a heavy appliance and moving it and lifting it could be difficult for some, but even though it feels like it is filled with concrete, I love it and hope to keep it and use it for the rest of my life!
Pros: don't have to hide it away, Design, easy to use
Cons: Heavy, Cord is a little short

My mother had a Kitchen Aid blender when I was a child and still has thay same one. Because of the reliability and ease of use of course I knew I needed one too. Kitchen Aid builds such great quality kitchen tools. This blender will last a lifetime, it's built strong. It blends wonderfully, is super easy to clean and comes with a bunch of great accessories.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a Christmas gift. It replaces my 35 year old Sunbeam (which still works). This Kitchen Aid is amazing! It mixes the ingrediencies so fast and you don't even need to scrape. I do recommend the separate attachment with the spatula like paddle. It works much better than what is included. Don't hesitate to purchase. Well built machine. Should last the rest of my life.
