I originally purchased the 5qt glass bowl, non-tip model. Loved how it performed but found it way to cumbersome and heavy. My awesome husband replaced it recently with this one, much easier for me to use.

I love this mixer. It is a perfect balance of beauty, brains and brawn! It is powerful enough to handle any task, it has many options and accessories, and it looks beautiful sitting on the counter in my kitchen. (Mine is a gorgeous dark red color.) It is very study and heavy duty , yet it cleans up easily.

Believe it or not, I was using my grandmother's 1958 Hamilton Beach stand mixer until the beaters finally broke and couldn't be replaced. I didn't realize what ease and convenience I was missing until I purchased my Kitchen Aid.in early October. Love it!
