I've been wanting a kitchenaid for years and it finally sunk in to my boyfriend that it would be beneficial to own one. He surprised me this Christmas with the most beautiful lavender mixer and since then we've used it for anything you can think of: cupcakes, dips, breads. I've so many plans for this wonderful appliance that it's hard to know exactly where to start. Tonight I'll be making cookies! We both absolutely love it and would buy it again only sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kitchen aid was a mothers day gift this yr. I have severe RA and it's mostly affected my hands so far. I love baking and I couldn't do as much with my handheld mixer anymore. My son bought this hoping it would be easier and OMG I can not say how easy it has made it for me to continue doing what I love to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am new to the cookie design world and this mixer has been a lifesaver. However, I have noticed a small chip along the outside seam on the paddle and I am super careful and only hand wash. After doing some research, I have found that this is a common occurrence. Hopefully kitchenaid will replace the paddle.

My first stand mixer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Urged on by a recipe I wanted to use for baking Christmas something for neighbors, and having stopped and then passed by each time I saw a KitchenAid mixer, I finally gave in. While I am still learning the proper procedures (for cookies and bread—to be my only use of it, I think), I am impressed with the ease of use, design, and construction (Artisan 5 qt model). It gets high marks in reviews I’ve consulted, and so far I agree that it is a fine home mixer—economical and efficient. I am still getting onto it, but am enjoying the journey. Thanks KA.
