I received this for thanksgiving last year and have been using it for mixing pastry and kneading dough for bread. I love the consistency this mixer gives, and especially for kneading dough for bread I'm able to control the time I needed, vs. the bread machine. The mixer is definitely my go-to for all wheat and dryer dough kneading since I had a bread machine flown-off-counter experience. Love the tilted head and the ease of bowl removal, bowls and parts are easy to clean. The only cons I would say is if you are making a small amount (eg. creaming butter with egg and sugar) the paddle does not reach the rims of the bottom and some of the side walls because of the lesser ingredients and you need to constantly scrap with a spatula. Got the mixer mainly for bread-making and I was debating if it should get one with a stronger motor, I ended up with the KA because of the colors and the brand, and found that the 325 works well for me as I make mainly soft bread and about 2 batches a time. All in all this is a great piece and I'm really happy to own it.
