Great American product. I have used it to mix cookies & stir meatloaf. It is a versatile product.
My only comment is that I was surprised that the mixer could be turned on when the beater is up & out of the bowl.

All of the people in my family have had their KitchenAid mixers for years. They haven't died, malfunctioned or had to be replaced. These mixers are worth every penny, you will get a lifetime of use out of it. I love mine! It's easy to use, easy to clean, and the Apple Green sure is pretty on my counter :)

I've owned this for about 3 weeks now and love it! I debated for a long time (before purchasing) whether the price was worth it, but after getting it and using it, I have to say I'm a bit upset that I didn't buy it earlier!!
In the few days I've had it, I've made home made bread dough and tons of cookies, banana bread, carrot cake and many more things. I use it every other day for kneading dough for making Indian bread (roti) and love how soft the dough comes out with no effort. Clean up is super easy.
