My New Artisan Standing Mixer - How did I live without it!

I bake....a lot. I lived with a hand mixer for many years. I read and reviewed the stand mixers and Kitchen Aid comes so highly recommended. I finally treated myself to the Stand Mixer and am so delighted with my purchase. The 5 qt bowl capacity is perfect for making breads, cookie dough and so much more. Performance is excellent and clean up is easy. Best purchase I've made for my baking and kitchen needs.

I bought this FINALLY after always wanting one, and needless to say I'm so extremely happy I did! I love love love this thing and am not sure how I lived without it. This is great for all things (not just baking), you can find cool ways to utilize your KitchenAid mixer for savory foods such as shredding chicken, mashing potatoes, etc. I would highly recommend this! I will say, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS about the mixing times, about the mixing speeds, etc. I tried to make a dough and my mixing speed was far too high so I had to start over... AFTER reading the instructions.... :) I finally was able to figure out the proper mixing speeds - so, read the info before starting - don't be like me and try to jump the gun with excitement!

My husband bought it for me, I am always baking everyone in the familys cakes and having everyone over for holidays, this will make my cooking and baking so much easier, I used it three times now in a week and the parts are so easy to take off and clean to get ready for the next use. I love how heavy duty it is, not like my usually mixer that burnt out last thanksgiving. I can't wait to get to start making more with it. I will definitely be ordering more attachments.
