This is my second KitchenAid mixer and I am happy about the fact I have a bigger bowl now. This mixer takes the grunt work out of mixing big batches of cookies and I will use it in the future for mixing meatballs and meatloaf. Of course, if you make big batches of mashed potatoes, this is the way to go. The only way to improve it would be to make it lighter but not sure how you could do that and keep the power and durability.
