I have ALWAYS wanted a Kitchenaid stand mixer, but couldn't afford one. We full time RV and now we don't have room for one. But...my hubby suddenly wanted me to have one. I purchased a red one and it sits proudly on my counter. I love the many features on it and it does a wonderful job. I have several recipes that require mixing for 20 minutes. It's do nice to not have to hold a hand mixer for 20 minutes. Thank you for making such a awesome product.

Let me start with a little history. Some 30 years ago, my husband bought a KitchenAid mixer for my birthday. It was less powerful than this model and in a color that has long since gone out of style. Over the years, as new colors and features were introduces, I wished I could get a new one, but the old one "never gave me an excuse" to do so. Finally, for my birthday this year, I got a nice, new red one that looks great one my new granite counter top! Even though nothing was wrong with the old one the new one is even better. As a professional cook and freelance caterer. my KitchenAid mixer is every bit as essential at home as the large ones I used at work. The older I get, the more I rely on it to do the things (such as kneading) that I used to enjoy doing by hand --- and it works just fine! I expect no less from the new mixer than the performance of the old one. So far, it has only exceeded that expectation and I will give the old one to somebody that needs it; it still has a lot of life left in it!
Pros: Performance, Design, Innovative, easy to use, Convenient Features

A learning curve to figure out attachments and decide that is is quicker to use that just a knife. It is easy to just rinse and put back away so as I use it more it is becoming a time saver.
