Absolutely the best purchase I have ever made.

I bought this mixer the Monday before Thanksgiving. I had 20 cream pies to bake on that Wednesday. Each pie required meringue as the topping. It is really hard to make the meringue without a special mixer. This mixer is the best for making it. I am so glad I purchased this mixer. I have told everyone I know that they need to get one, too.

My wife actually bought me this. She gave it to me as a birthday gift. I LOVE THIS!!!! I have always wanted one of these. It works great. This will be my go to kitchen item. I have already used it 5 times! Its durable and cleans very easy. The attachments come on and off really easy.

This is my third Kitchen Aid mixer to purchase. The other 2 were admired so much by my Mother and Mother in law that I gave them away! Every single product I have ever bought with the "Kitchen Aid" logo has been outstanding in durability and reliability. I would recommend Kitchen Aid products to anyone. I have used them for over 30 years and never had any problems.

Mixer is very heavy and bulky so moving it around is hard. The controls are hard to see on the side making it difficult to change settings. The mixer will not slide easy across the counter when trying to move form one work station to another.
Cons: Too Bulky

Powerful overall, Tilt-Head not secured when making dough

I bought it last Christmas but just took it out to use about a month ago. Very impressed by how powerful it is to blend. I mainly use it for making dough, I did find that my mixer is not locked properly and making the tilt head to move up and down a little bit. Went back to William Sonoma to check out the ones they display and see the same thing on some of them. Will contact Kitchenaid later to find out if it is normal.
