[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mixer works great, and feels like there is a lot of good engineering put into it. The only issue is the plastic feed tray that fits on top. It doesn't stay in place very well. I'd rather just not use it.

Love my KitchenAid Artisan mixer. This is my first stand mixer and I wish I had one many years ago when I was first married!! It's powerful but doesn't move around on my countertop. I bought the Espresso color and it goes perfect in my kitchen. Thanks for making an outstanding product!

The powerful motor and sturdy construction stands up to the heaviest batters and breads. I love the versatility of being able to add various attachments. With the attachments, it can ultimately replace nearly all of my stand-alone appliances and save a lot of space. I love the color, and it looks beautiful in my kitchen.

I bought this as a birthday present to myself.I'm very happy with it,especially the dough hook,it really does a good job of kneading.After the first use a screw from the top back fell out,tightened all screws since and no problems.
