[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband surprised me with this because I've been baking so much and always wanted one but never pulled the plug myself and IM SO GLAD HE DID! It allows me to work on other prep/clean up while its mixing. It's quick. And best of all its surprisingly quiet! I thought it would be a bit loud when mixing but it's not at all!!

Best kitchen appliance that you'll ever need.

I really want and need this mixer cause I love making Christmas gifts which consists on my divinity, but there has been a problem with that, cause it will burn up the mixer. I used my Mother-in-law Kitchen Aide and what a difference it makes for making my gift baskets. I sure would love to get one so I can make batches without burning a mixer up. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was making German Springerlie Christmas cookies and the KitchenAid mixer was mentioned in the recipe that I was following. This was my first attempt in making these cookies and I am glad that I decided to purchase the KitchenAid. The cookie batter is very heavy and sticky and my antique stand mixer did not have the paddles needed to blend this dough.
