Received as a gift and am having lots of fun learning how to use. Granddaughters are enjoying as well. Just wish is wasn't so heavy. Next adventure is to try to make bread never have had much luck, so I am hopeful!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago. My daughter was more happy than me when I brought it home. She decided that we should bake something the next day in order to see how well the mixer work. It worked really good and the quality is very good its very sturdy and mixes very smoothly. I finally got my wish a kitchen aid mixer and I am ready to explore a lot with this mixer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My real rating is 4.5. The mixer works great. I bought the additional beater with the scraper and am really happy about how it works.
I am not happy with the bowl shield. The directions for its use are vague and it tends to shake loose from the mixing bowl during operation.
Newer models employ a clamp system for securing it. It is listed as an out of stock item on the website.
I am very pleased with its sturdy construction and strong power.

Own two and pivot pins work out on both. Must tap back in to keep head attached...wonder if others experience the same problem and if there is a fix for this.please advise.....
