I have wanted one of these for years, and I was talked out of putting one on my wedding registry by my mother. I shouldn't have listened to her. I do lots of baking and this has made everything easier. I love that I can put my ingredients in the bowl, flip it on, and have my hands free to do other things while the mixer does the work! My only negative comment is that I hear a slight rattling noise when I have it up on high speed, but I did purchase a refurbished one since the brand new ones are soooo expensive and out of my price range. So some wear and tear is to be expected. I love this appliance, and I won't ever go without one again! If this one dies in several years, I'm replacing it immediately, cost be darned!

After wanting this product for over a year and a half, I finally buckled down and purchased and I really love it! I have used it a handful of times since and it looks great on my counter. The only complaint that I have with the unit is that I notice some black residue in the food I make even after I have thouroughly cleaned all the pieces several times. Not sure if it's something grinding inside and producing the black dust like substance but it does make me feel iffy about the food. Other than that it's a great product.

I received this mixer as a wedding present and couldn't be happier. I've wanted one for the last 16 years, spent hours researching the perfect stand mixer, and then my parents gifted it to us shortly after our wedding!
The tilt head and speed switch operate smoothly, the 5-quart bowl is perfect size and the handle makes for easy handling. The pour shield is awesome when a recipe requires dry ingredients to be added during mixing.
I love this mixer!
