I like this mixer. The only thing that I have noticed is this. ....I have a 4 quart kitchen aid stand mixer that I have had since 1986 .and still use....This new mixer isn't as high of quality as the 1986 one. This mixer's bowl is not as sturdy as my oldER one and the new mixer just doesn't seem to have the high quality of my old one. The motor doesn't seem as strong. I still like the new one. I bought it for my home bakery business because of the larger capacity. I also have a Hobart 12 quart mixer for the business...Hobart makes the kitchen aid mixers I do believe. It is a very nice mixer and will be using a lot

I got this a month ago. It was supposed to be for Christmas. My husband could not wait for me to use it so it is now on my counter. I have the Empire Red in the 5 qt size. The tilt head is great. My older one did not tilt and it was so heavy.

This is is the best stand mixer I have ever purchased. The one I had before this one malfunctioned just after warranty, go figure. So I decided to give this brand a try. I'm glad I did, the quality is unmatched. I don't hold back and use this mixer at least three times a week, it performs flawlessly. I would definitely recommend.

I've wanted one of these for a very long time, didn't even have a hand mixer so I did all my mixing by hand for many many years. This makes mixing batters such a breeze. What a time saver and just in time for holiday baking! It is quite large, and heavy, so make sure you have the space and height clearance for it on your counter as I don't think you'd really want to be moving it around much.
