Much needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First let me say I so wanted this mixer in copper but I would not find it in that color. I do love the quality of my mixer. I was using a mixer that was 40 years old so if that tells you anything, I like an appliance that really lasts and I know this one will stand the test of time.

This stand mixer has changed my baking world! The first thing I made when I bought this was a batch of soft pretzels that were an absolute hit - my only complaint was that I should have bought the larger capacity mixer so I could make larger batches to feed the masses! I have also used my spiralizer attachment, baked a coffee cake for a brunch and more! LOVE this addition to my kitchen!

I had wanted a KitchenAid since our children were very young. My daughter gave me one for Christmas 2014. I am still excited about it. I'll whip up something delightful in a flash! Now, on to some attachments. The spiralizer, the pasta maker, and the food processor are at the top of the list. My manual spiralizer needs a new home.

I want to love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week ago and promptly came home and made chocolate chip cookies. The head did not lock into position properly and kept popping up while I was mixing. I was very unhappy...looked at some blogs and Kitchenaid help sites and found a video showing how to set the height properly with the dime...which I have done. This is supposed to take care of the motor head not locking in place problem...I hope so and will find out next time I use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great looking robust and quality built

It is actually the diamond in the kitchen and already gave fantastic results. The range of the accessories is also very broad.The design and the quality built is really amazing. I recommend it to my friends always to get one of these beauties.
