[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift, and asked for this model specifically. For years I have been an avid gardener, and part of the joy is canning the harvest to eat during the Winter. I am also an avid baker of gluten free treats.
I requested it because I was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy, and my hands and arms have become weak. I thought I would have to give up canning because I could no longer hand process everything.
This mixer allows me to keep going, I have several attachments that do the grunt work for me, and the powerful motor makes mixing up gluten free treats a piece of cake (pun intended).
The color is bright and cheery in my kitchen, and it has a smaller footprint than my previous mixer. It's my new favorite appliance.

I have wanted a KitchenAid stand mixer for as long as I can remember. After I retired and actually had time to use one I decided to by it. I looked at several brand names but wanted the KitchenAid brand. I have only used it once but know from that we will be good friends in the future. I am anxious to try new and different things. Every time I walk by it sitting on the counter I am so happy to finally be an owner this beautiful mixer.
