I am not a baker but I have been trying lately I received this Kitchen Aid for Christmas and I love it instead of me standing there holding a hand mixer I just pour all of my ingredients in and let it go. It has some weight to it and it is very sturdy so even when you have it on a high speed you will not have to worry about it falling. Even my husband uses it for his pancakes in the morning. I plan on buying extra parts for it and build up my collection. It is easy to clean as well. This product is a must have and I am so happy my husband and my little ones got this for me for Christmas.

So sorry I am so long writing a review of the wonderful mixer that we bought some time ago, but I just used it this week getting ready for Thanksgiving. It preformed beautifully, mixing heavy dough for cookies and home made rolls. Also it is quiet and powerful. This is my second mixer like this, so I knew what it could do. I have owned one since 2004. Thanks for selling a great product.

I had one for over 10 years prior to mixer that I got used when I was first married and I loved it. I since passed it on in a move to my sister in law who was so very thrilled and now, years later, I have one new for me! I bought the Kitchenaid 5.5qt Empire Red stand mixer 2/22/15 and it came with great attachments. It is very easy to use and very easy to clean!!! It is really easy to attach the attachments. The splatter guard means that the kitchen and I do not wear the flour and/or sugar. I have see the reviews on the Cooks Corner & The British Baking Show contest. I would not trade in for any other mixer!!!! I love the Empire Red color which adds so much to my kitchen. It is the only mixed that will stand up to my Ghridarellli cookie dough with black walnuts!!
