I had a 4 quart Kitchen Aid for about 10 years, it was well used and did a great job on everything I made with it. But I soon got spoiled and started doubling recipes, this 5 Qt mixer is even better and has the capacity I need for my holiday cookie baking spree. Love my KitchenAid, don't know what I'd do without one!

Growing up, I dreamed of owning a kitchenaid stand mixer. I would drool over them at department stores with my Mother and we always said that life would change when I got one!
This year, my girlfriend bought me this beautiful stand mixer as a surprise gift. It's been a wonderful experience thus far! The mixer works wonders and can make anything. I use it to whip meringues, make bread doughs, and make nice fluffy cookie doughs. We've yet to have a kitchen disaster when this mixer was involved.
Now, my girlfriend is happy because she knows what to get me for every birthday, anniversary, and christmas--stand attachments and accessories! Plus, she gets the benefit of all of my delicious creations.
I love my mixer and I can't wait to continue creating new things with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being 75 and arthritis is taking over my ability to mix anything, mash potatoes, whip cream. It is hard to hold a portable mixer. I love my kitchen aide I don’t think I will ever recover financially. It is so difficult living on SS. Should have my head examined for spending so much on this. I do now have one item of value to leave my kids. A beautiful piece of an appliance.

Kitchen Aid has always been the golden idol of mixers. Many years ago, husband requested I make bread regularly. I agreed but wanted him to get me a mixer with dough hooks. I imagined Kitchen Aid, he bought another. Disappointment. I finally stepped up and purchased my mixer! I related story to a friend. she had exactly same thing happen. We dream of Kitchen Aid and sadly settle for another, for awhile. She got her Kitchen Aid for Christmas. Both mixers proudly stand on our respective counters where they have places of honor at the ready for their many uses.
