I bought my first Kitchenaid mixer 20 years ago. I loved it from the day I bought it. When that one started to have some problems and I knew Christmas was almost here, I knew I needed to purchase a new one. I have recommended Kitchenaid to all my friends and many of them have also bought the mixer. They would not use anything else, either. Once you buy a Kitchenaid, you will never buy anything else.

I have been looking for the best time to dive into the KitchenAid community for awhile now. Finally did just before Thanksgiving. The first use was for the big holiday meal and I put it through its paces. From the pumpkin pies, to the mashed potatoes and on to the whipped cream, my new mixer came through with flying colors. The head is pretty heavy, so be careful to lock it down when running the beaters, and the pour cover was helpful but seemed to pop off during use. Overall, I am thrilled with its performance and can't wait to start adding attachments.
