Purchased this tilt head mixer in December of 2013.My wife is very pleased with it . From my perspective it is very well built. It appears to be of very high quality. I love the fact that it is made in the USA. Had an issue with the first one we ordered and I must say, the people at KitchenAid could not have been any easier to work with. They didn't ask me a million questions or act as though it was something I did wrong. They were very polite and professional and thorough as to what to do and what to expect with the return process. I received a brand new mixer 2 days after I contacted them which was very important since my wife had a lot of holiday baking to do. In closing, I must tell you, we are very happy with the mixer itself and almost more importantly, the customer service we received.

Lots of attachments available make this mixer do just about anything you need to do in the kitchen. But the lock lever wouldn't engage, and so I have to hold it when I am mixing something that causes the mixer to move up and down.
Pros: easy to use, Design, Convenient Features, Performance

I've been wanting a stand mixer for years but never had the space for it. Finally decided to get one anyways and love it. I keep finding new recipes to try just so I can use it. Makes preparing batters so easy. It makes short work of of recipes I love but avoided because of how much work they are. Simple to use and elegant to look at.
