I had wanted the stand mixer for years so at Christmas time, my son s & daughter-in-law got me one. Later, I purchased the slicer and the grinder attachments. Saves me a lot of space as I could get rid of my processer. Love it.

Replaced one I had for 43 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids gave this to me for Christmas. It replaced one that I had for 43 years and I absolutely loved. I could never do without one. The old one worked but had a few issues (kept stopping and I'd have to turn the blade manually to "unstick" it). My kids knew how much I loved it so surprised me with a new one-in my favorite color, red. I'm sure I will love this one just as much and will probably last the rest of my life.

I have been married for 31 years. When we got married I went to supermarket and bought a Sunbeam Mixer. Yes it has been good to me for 31 years and was still working up until the time I got my new one this year. So during the holidays I thought I would use it one more time before opening up my new one. Needless to say...it must have been jealous of the newbie and made some noises and died. So...I opened up the Kitchen Aid....read the directions....and put her to work. All I can say is OMG how did I go all these years without her.

I was one of these people who scoffed at the need for a Kitchenaid. I fully believed anything it could do, I could do without it. WRONG!!! This machine is amazing and is a necessity in every working kitchen. I am thrilled it is now a member of my family. I recommend it fully. I am excited to buy the veggie spirializer. I have a garden every year and love my veggies. Thank you Kitchenaid. I adore you!!!
