This was the number one item I wanted on my registry. Let's be real, I have been dreaming about getting married partially for the fact because that meant registry for my very own KitchenAid mixer. I have been using my mothers hand me down for the first few months of moving into my new house, but now my KitchenAid is my very own that adds a great pop of color to my kitchen.

I bought this in the middle of December 2015 and so far have used it to make chocolate chip cookies, pizza dough, banana chocolate chip muffins. I love that I can just put the ingredients in the bowl and let it mix itself. My hand and arms won't be tired anymore and it's such a time saver. That said, it's now middle of February 2016 and I'm still waiting to receive my rebate check . I'm starting to doubt if I'll ever get it.

I've had my standup mixer for a little while now and it was well worth the money! It has decreased my prep time and my clean up time for pizza dough by half, which is a big deal when I'm making pizza once or twice per week. Great investment!

It makes so many things so much easier, especially now that I am 60 years old. I have difficulty mixing things by hand and my hand mixer doesn't always do the trick. It is definitely a good purchase and worth the expense!

A real timesaver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally bought the kitchen aid to help with my yearly recipe for Christmas fig cookie dough. It takes a lot of mixing and kneading and as I get older and more arthritic its tough to do. It was a snap using the kitchen aid. I did have to halve the recipe. Bowl not large enough for full recipe. Of course I appreciated it also when I baked a batch of pumpkin
rolls and in 2 minutes the filling for all 4 were mixed! Love it!
