Second one ~ first one lasted nearly 30 years!!

Love the tilt head

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 6 qt at Christmas but it did not have the tilt head. It was hard for me to use so I purchased the 5 qt with the tilt head and I love it.

I'm 66 years old and have been baking cookies for Christmas for almost 40 years. I have always hand mixed the dough, and this year I decided either I buy a KitchenAid or I don't bake anymore before I just don't have the strength for mixing 50 pounds of dough (I give as gifts to family). So I took the plunge and splurged on myself and bought the very pretty RED Artisan and I LOVE IT. And to be honest, my family loves it too because without it they wouldn't have any cookies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this at the end of December and have used it to make a number of recipes. It does very well with pastry dough that is sticky. I had to adjust the arm to get the proper clearance in the bowl and to be able to lock it and now it works even better!
